Red Deer Workshop

This workshop will be held in Richmond Park and we will be photographing Britain’s largest land mammal: the red deer. Richmond Park is home to a large variety of other wildlife too, such as fallow deer, green woodpeckers, little owls and plenty of waterfowl, so if at point you fancy trying something else, there is plenty of other wildlife to photograph.

My workshops are typically run on a 1-1 basis as this ensures that I can offer you the maximum guidance and support, however if you would like to book with a friend then this is not a problem.

This session will last approximately 4 hours and we will meet 30 minutes before sunrise. Full day workshops are available upon request.

What Previous Participants Said

“I did a thoroughly enjoyable one day workshop with Richard to photograph Deer in Richmond Park. He was extremely knowledgeable about best places to shoot to get the best pictures possible. Whilst I was soaked to the skin by the end of session I think I got some great shots I am really pleased with. I think whether you are beginner or have a bit more experience Richard provides guidance in an unassuming & supportive way. I also recently contacted him regarding help with Lightroom editing & again he was incredibly responsive & helpful. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough & look forward to doing more workshops with him in the future.” - Jules Oldroyd

“I booked a day at Richmond Park with Richard to learn how to photograph the Red Deer. It was an early start, just as the sun was rising. What a great day it turned out to be. I found Richard very helpful and full of knowledge about the Red Deer. We walked a long way that day but the images that Richard helped me get were wonderful. I would recommend him highly.” - Terry McDermott
