ISLE OF MULL 2025 TOUR

Join me on the beautiful Isle of Mull for the opportunity to photograph some of the UK’s most spectacular wildlife! I promise you that a visit to this island is a must for any wildlife enthusiast/photographer.

During your time on Mull our primary focus will be on photographing Otters, Puffins and White-Tailed Eagles however, there is so much other wildlife on Mull that last year’s tour participants came away with images of Red Deer, Seals, Hen Harriers, Short-eared Owls, and plenty of other birds, such as Oystercatchers, Great Northern Divers and Curlew.

As part of this package you will get to spend a morning onboard Mull Charters, photographing White-Tailed Eagles. You will also spend a day on the spectacular island of Lunga photographing the Puffins and a variety of other seabirds including; Razorbills, Guillemots, Shags, Fulmar and Kittiwakes, to name only a few.

  • Breakfast and a Packed Lunch.

  • You will have full use of the kitchen to prepare your evening meals.

What’s not included within your trip?

Fitness required for this trip?

  • The trip can be tailored to everyone’s requirements but there is rarely much walking involved when photographing wildlife on Mull. The only exception to this would be when we arrive on Lunga, as there’s a short walk across a rocky beach followed by a 10 minute walk over cliff paths. It’s extremely safe but a decent pair of walking boots is essential.

What Previous Participants Said

I spent an amazing week on the Isle of Mull with Richard photographing otters and other wildlife. The group size is kept small so Richard can give individuals as much or as little help as they might need whatever their ability as a photographer. His knowledge of wildlife and photography is superb as is his fieldcraft skills. He puts your needs first and will leave his camera at home to make sure he has time for you. I came away with a fantastic portfolio of images and am already looking forward to another trip with Richard.” - Keith Humphrey

Had an amazing time on the Isle of Mull tour. Richard was leading the tour and his lovely wife was making sure that we were all well fed and taken care of, preparing meals, plus coffee and snacks for our breaks while out in the field. We had loads of good sightings and plenty of opportunity for taking images. Richard was giving all his time to make sure we were happy with our images and he was always available for advice - he did NOT carry a camera because he wanted to offer all his attention to the group! He is very knowledgeable and was making sure that wildlife was undisturbed. Even during his free time, he was available for critique and for advice on photo editing. All in all a great experience! I will definitely join him again on his tours and workshops! - Stavros Eleftheriou
